
4 large Walla Walla or Vidalia sweet onions
1 C flour
1 C beer
Few shakes of salt
Few shakes of pepper
2 T cayenne pepper
1 t garlic powder
Slice onions into large rings. Heat oil until bubbles form when a wooden spoon is dipped in (hows that for exact?). Combine batter ingredients, dip, fry, drain on wire rack over paper towels.
Indulge. Joe and I ate the whole plate.
